About

Thomas Walden CA/CPA has produced and executive produced a variety of film and television projects, both independently and through High Park Entertainment., for many years. Recent projects include the film “Trigger Point” (starring Barry Pepper and theatrically released in the US), and the series “V-Wars” (a Netflix Original starring Ian Somerhalder), while previous projects include the films “Nightrunners” (shot in rural Kenya and premiering at the Zanzibar International Film Festival) and “Expecting” (winner of the Most Popular Canadian Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival).

​Thomas previously co-founded Front and Centre Productions Inc., which service produced the feature film “Aurora Borealis” (starring Donald Sutherland, Louise Fletcher, Joshua Jackson and Juliette Lewis) and the network MOW’s “Blessings” (starring Mary Tyler Moore), “A Very Married Christmas” (starring Joe Mantegna, Jean Smart and Kari Matchett) and “Riding The Bus With My Sister” (starring Rosie O’Donnell and Andie MacDowell, and directed by Anjelica Huston).

Whether through BTS, or in previous senior financial roles with the largest entertainment companies in Canada including Alliance Atlantis, Lions Gate, Salter Street Films, Cineplex Odeon and Concert Productions International (CPI), Thomas has provided business affairs services on over 500 film and television projects, including several landmark productions (including many Emmy/Genie/Gemini award winners) and on many live performances (including the world tours of the Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, and 100+ other bands). He is a former tax auditor with Canada Revenue Agency where he reviewed and assessed billion dollar firms, tax planning vehicles and complex international transactions.

Thomas is a founding partner in Fuzerly, a web-based (and soon mobile) app that enables fans to make authorized memes, GIF’s and fan art of their favourite celebrities for online uses and on custom merch, and he was a founding partner in BITE-TV, a Canadian digital broadcaster than won an International Emmy for Best Interactive Channel, and Digital Howard, an award-winning 360 digital content producer.
